Jedi Owyn Darklighter agreed to sell this rare ship to the Museum and, despite he got good offers from private buyers, he kept his word and transferred ownership as promised. It seems that there are only a handful of those ships on the market.

Owyn Darklighter got this ship from one of the GalMart founders around 5-6 years ago. For most of the time he has owned it, the Theta served as a mobile dojo for a small group of martial artists of various species, lead by a Twi'lek named Athena. (Prior to that point Athena served as a personal bodyguard for Owyn Darklighter.)

Owyn did train with them sometimes, but they could generally beat him unless he relied on the Force. Of the original 14 members of the dojo (not including Owyn, since he was more of a supporter than member) there were no humans. They practiced a hybrid form of martial arts specifically tailored to each individual member and they would frequently incorporate new styles as they were introduced by new members or visiting practitioners. The two female Ewoks were probably the ones most often underestimated. Members of the dojo have participated in a number of operations for the New Republic including the joint operation with the Falleen Federation on Tatooine while other members have chosen to remain somewhat neutral. The dojo now has a permanent training center in the Kerest System and uses Delta shuttles in place of the single Theta now exhibited in the Galactic Museum.

The Ciuv Gowcara was the one hundredth ship to enter the Galactic Museum docking bays.
