The Rebel Development & Production Department (RDPD) is responsible for the development of Rebel Alliance's territories and lead the Rebel Alliance's production efforts. It is staffed by some of the galaxy's most renowned master architects and engineers. 
 
Through the work of the RDPD, Rebel Alliance's planets are transformed from barren worlds into massive ecumenopolises, inhabited by billions of sentients. They also handles the production and distribution of items, ships, droids, medical supplies and vehicles. 
 
The RDPD contains 5 [[Nationalised Corporations|Nationalised corporations]] and the Civil Engineering Department.
