The construction of this ship was started at the time of the Old Galactic Museum. Then the Shipyard IV was moved on Toosma planet, and the new Museum was built.
The GNS announcing the opening of the Galactic Museum also spoke about this Home One. Its Rodian name means "Grand Protector," the leader of Rodia and the Rodian race.
This magnificent vessel - which some classify as a Super Capital ship - is tasked with defense of the Tyrius system, thus remaining in system and "on display", providing both security, and a consistent main attraction for the Museum.
